WILHELM VON HUMBOLDT ON HISTORY AND HISTORICAL THINKING

Makaryev Igor V.                                                   DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2020-4-9-19

Abstract.

The essay is an attempt to reconstruct Humboldt’s approach to historical thinking and understanding of history. Several difficulties of understanding of Humboldt’s philosophy in the Soviet und post-Soviet situation have been demonstrated. A new possibility to view Humboldt’s philosophy within the framework of the Western philosophical tradition of the XX century and the concept of “event” has also been analyzed. Revolution in the philosophical thoughts conducted after Hegel by Schelling (in his late period), Marx, Kierkegaard and German historical school is such an event, which could help to understand Humboldt’s scientificphilosophical program. Humboldt’s critique of Hegel’s philosophy of history is analyzed.

ECOPHILOSOPHY AS AN IDEOLOGICAL FRAME AND A BASIS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE HUMAN SOCIETY

Gorokhov Sergey A.                                             DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2020-4-20-27

Abstract.

This article is devoted to the need to form a paradigm syncretic approach to the progressive building and development of a harmonious society of the future. The author notes the impossibility of solving the issues related to building a harmonious society within the framework of any private theories, Sciences. It is concluded about the exclusive role of ecophilosophy in forming such a society, primarily because of the possibility of combining disparate Sciences, ethical and moral views, as well as axiological installations into one system by overcoming the centuriesold contradictions within the system of the «nature-man» relationship.

ASSERTIVE BEHAVIOUR AND ITS ROLE IN PEDAGOGICAL INTERACTION WITH ORPHANS

Bojkova Kristina V.                                              DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2020-4-38-42

Abstract.

In the current conditions of instability of social processes affecting the situation of each family, the number of disadvantaged, asocial families is increasing, and at the same time there is a sharp increase in orphans and rejected children in maternity hospitals. These factors influence
the emotional state of children and impede the normal course of their socialization in society. Children are forced to adapt to the barriers to natural development through protection mechanisms. An important protection mechanism is the use of assertive behaviour skills. At the same time, the availability of these skills is important not only for orphans themselves, but also, first of all, for teachers who interact with these children. Orphans should see before them a bright, living example of an assertive person. After  all, it is teachers who are with orphans 24 hours a day, and it is from them that orphans take an example. This article deals with the interpretation of the concept of «assertive.» The role of assertive behavior of the teacher while interacting with orphans is revealed. The influence of the teachers’ assertion on the development of skills of assertive behavior in orphans is described. The results of experimental work on the subject under study are presented.

Keywords:

TROUBLEHACKING AS AN ALGORITHM FOR SOLVING VITAL PROBLEMS: IDEAS FOR A CONTEMPORARY SCHOOL WITHIN THE CONCEPTS OF THE COMPETENCY-BASED APPROACH

Vasilenko Yuri V., Volochkov Ilia V.                  DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2020-4-57-70

Abstract.

The concept of troublehacking as an algorithm of thinking and practical activities required for a modern person to achieve results in the chaos of public life is presented in the article. Enunciating troublehacking as a method for improving systems, the authors divide it into a number of interrelated concepts. Having analyzed several the most  significant and popular doctrines of life in the modern world (S.R. Covey, M. Krogerus and R. Tschappeler, D. Meadows, W. Poundstone), the authors prove that the idea and methods of troublehacking are in line with the global trend. On analyzing the Federal state educational standards for elementary, primary and secondary schools, the authors state that troublehacking can be used in the modern Russian education system as a tool to implement the competency-based approach.

PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS FOR IMPLEMENTING VALUE AND SENSE DIRECTION OF TRAINING MATHEMATICS AT HIGHER SCHOOL

Zhuk Larisa V.                                                DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2020-4-80-92

Abstract.

The article actualizes the issue of updating the content, methods and means of teaching mathematics at the university within the sociocultural paradigm. A significant contradiction characterizing the crisis situation in the field of higher mathematical education is the mismatch
between the traditional organization of the educational process and the powerful developing potential of mathematical disciplines. Being overloaded with a lot of information, altogether with its insufficiently developed anthropological, cultural-like and communicative components, mathematical education hinders the mental development of the learner’s personality in relation to such important qualities as search activity, creativity, and creative thinking. The solution to this problem can be the transformation of the cognitive-information model of learning, the introduction of pedagogical technologies that actualize the sociocultural aspect of mathematical education. The aim of the study is to develop methodological foundations for the implementation of the value-semantic orientation of teaching mathematics at the university, expressed in providing a set of pedagogical conditions related to the selection of content, determination of teaching aids and methods, ways of organizing the interaction of students and a teacher, in which students intelligently master mathematical concepts, and freely operate with them. The didactic conditions for the implementation of the valuesemantic orientation of teaching mathematics at the university are: the transformation of  athematical content, expressed in learning from sociocultural experience; the psychodidactic approach, focused on building the students’ self-motivation; the use of teaching methods that provide cognitive and emotional empathy (educational mathematical discourse), the activization of productive mental activity (technology of problematic dialogue); inclusion of non-standard, creative tasks, training cases. Providing these conditions will allow to realize the humanitarian potential of mathematics, to reveal the social, practical and personal significance of the subject matter.

Keywords:

sociocultural aspect of education, value-semantic orientation of teaching mathematics, educational mathematical discourse, problem dialogue technology, creative tasks, training case.

WAYS OF INCREASING MOTIVATION TO STUDY DISCIPLINES ON THE PROFILE OF TRAINING BY MEANS OF A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Kropotkina Olga D., Frolova Tatyana P.       DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2020-4-93-102

Abstract.

The article deals with the peculiarities of the educational process in a technical University in order to increase the motivation of students through learning a foreign language. The concepts of «motive» and «motivation» in a broad sense of the word are revealed, and in particular, the concept of  «motives of scientific activity» is given through the prism of the classification of personal motives. The paper analyzes the provisions on this issue, described in the works of such researchers as D. B. Bogoyavlenskaya, J. Dewey, A. Maslow, D. Halpern, M. G. Yaroshevsky, etc. Most researchers emphasize that the research activity is a creative interaction of the main subjects of the educational process, the result of which is the development of students’ subjectively new knowledge by solving research problems. The aim of this article is to consider the ways of increasing motivation to study disciplines in the profile of training by attracting students to research activity by means of a foreign language. The article proposes a program of involvement of students in research activity taking into account modern requirements for professional training of University graduates. The article is based on research results, questionnaires, observations and a survey conducted among first-year and second year students and the first-year students in the master’s program of the Polytechnic University, those who continue studying English.
