PLATO AND FICHTE: EDUCATION AS AN ENGINE OF POLITICAL CHANGES
Klenin Petr V. DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2020-5-9-18
Abstract.
The article deals with the historical and philosophical examination of the educational concepts by Plato and Fichte. The philosophers selected for comparative studies present a view of education as an engine of political changes, that`s why the article emphasizes philosophical explication of their positions. Plato’s and Fichte’s views on the problem of education are diff- erent as they both lived in different époques, but they were times of crisis. However, their loyalty to the societal ideal, the purpose of rethinking the value of education in the state, make it possible to compare their teachings. Education in Plato’s philosophy aims to change the state fundamentally, when education in Fichte’s philosophy contributes to its transformation. The specifi c pedagogical procedures established by both philosophers are in focus of this article and are important for understanding the relationship of philosophy and education. Thus, Plato proposes to divide pedagogical tasks in accordance with inequality of social estates, while Fichte considers education as a national project for civil society. The relevance of this problem stems from modern appeals to reform the education system depending on political and social problems, but philosophers approach this issue from а diff- erent point of view and it is important to trace the peculiarities of this approach in light of history of Philosophy.

Kazakova Larisa P., Radke Denis I. DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2020-5-54-68
Abstract.
The article contains the results of an empirical study of the features of life meaning orientations, time perspective, and ideological identity of first and fi fthyear military university cadets studying “Psychology of service activity” with different types of motivation for choosing military service. Significant difference in the personal haracteristics of cadets with the “internal” and “external” type of motivation for choosing military service is revealed. First-year cadets’ “internal” motivation is associated with higher levels of meaningfulness result of life and locus of control of ‘self’. Fifth-year cadets with “internal” motivation have higher indications of conciseness of the future and a positive attitude to the past. It is concluded that the motivation for entering military service is more signifi cant for the indicators of psychological well-being of cadets than the experience of service or training in the cadet corps before entering a military university.

RESEARCH OF THE CORRELATION BETWEEN INTERPERSONAL TOLERANCE AND PERSONALITY SELF-ATTITUDE AT THE STUDENT AGE (On the Example of University and College Students)
Efremkina Irina N. DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2020-5-69-80
Abstract.
The article presents the results of an empirical research of the relationship between interpersonal tolerance and self-attitude at student age (n = 100) on the example of university and college students. Theoretical analysis shows that modern researchers call communicative tolerance and empathy as an important manifestations of interpersonal tolerance. At the same time, the attitude to another person can be infl uenced by the attitude to oneself (self-attitude). The research used valid and reliable methods of diagnostics of the communicative tolerance by V. V. Boyko; diagnostics of the level of empathic abilities by V. V. Boyko; research of self-attitude by S. R. Panteleev. It was found that empathy indicators have a small number of correlations with self-attitude indicators in both subsamples. At the same time, many correlations between indicators of communicative tolerance and indicators of self-attitude in both sub-samples were found at a sufficient level of significance. The correlation between communicative tolerance, empathy, and self-attitude differs among university and college students. In case with university students, a high level of communicative tolerance is associated with positive self-attitudes, while in general, a lower degree of communicative tolerance of college students is associated with a less positive self-attitude.

Vasyura Svetlana A., Iogolevich Natalia I. DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2020-5-81-95
Abstract.
The article presents the results of an empirical study of relation between the communicative activity and self-evaluation of teenagers (n = 85), whose personality development takes place in the information society and allows us to characterize modern adolescents as generation Z («digital» generation). Communicative activity is considered as the willingness and ability of a person to interpersonal interaction, the outgoing desire to implement the functions of the subject of communication. The authors have analyzed theoretical information about the self-evaluation and communicative activity of adolescents. The communicative activity of adolescents of generation Z is characterized by a wide range: from self-centeredness and minimal involvement in communication, to the desire to maximize the range of social contacts as in real communication, so in communication mediated by technical means. The identifi ed gaps in the scientifi c knowledge about communicative activity, in terms of its connection with the self-esteem of modern teeagers, became the prerequisite for this study. The principle of consistency and theoretical provisions on self-esteem by L. V. Borozdina, ideas about the activity of personality by A. I. Krupnov, A. A. Volochkov and S. A. Vasyura formed the theoretical and methodological basis of the work. The relations of communicative activity and self-evaluation of adolescents are established. The basic components of the system of these relations are ease of contact and self-evaluation of appearance. The ease of coming into contact is associated with self-evaluation on the scales of “authority among peers”, “appearance (beauty)”, “self-confi dence”, as well as the level of claims on the scales “mind” and “self-confi dence”. The self-evaluation of appearance (beauty) is associated with the need for communication, initiative in communication, ease of contact, expressiveness in communication. The obtained results contribute to the development of scientifi c ideas about communicative activity, its potential for the development of the personality of adolescents of generation Z.

Lyz’ Natalia A., Labyntseva Irina S. DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2020-5-96-105
Abstract.
The paper considers the relevance of the university’s being students-oriented, shows the need to study the students’ learning motivation at the stage of university entrance, and presents the results of an empirical study. The purpose of the study is to identify the freshmen’s motives for choosing an educational-professional trajectory, awareness of their professional choice and academ ic expectations. To examine this phenomenon 247 fi rst-year IT-students participated in the study. The results showed that the students are confi dent in their choice of major and university. Prestigious, fi nancial and self-realization motives prevail among the motives for choosing an educational-professional trajectory. Freshmen’s expectations from studying at a university are associated with personal and professional development, activity in learning, and the satisfaction of cognitive and social needs. The results also showed the existence of a holistic system of subjective motivational foundations of students’ educational and professional activities. This system includes interrelated components: the motives for choosing an educational-professional trajectory, awareness of professional choice and academic expectations.

Danilova Yulia Yu. DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2020-5-106-118
Abstract.
Features of trust manifestation in adolescents with family deprivation are described in this article, also correlations of interpersonal trust with indicators of social situation of development and perception of relationships with signifi cant adults were investigated. 286 adolescents took part in the research: 144 from full families, 65 from incomplete (single-mothered) and 77 from orphanage. “Interpersonal trust Scale” by J. Rotter was used for the level of trust investigation. Child-parent relationships were investigated by “Child-parent relationships in adolescents” by O. Karabanova and P. Troyanovskaya. We have received the following results: interpersonal trust level does not differ depending on social situation of development in elder adolescents. At the same time the perception of relationships with parents and with caregiver in orphanages differs. Those adolescents, who suffer from family deprivation, note just controlling part of relationships with their signifi cant adult, whereas adolescents living in the family setting percept their relationships with parents as accepting, supporting and collaborating.

THE SYSTEM OF PERSONALIZED INSTRUCTION IN SCHOOL EDUCATION: PROBLEMS OF IMPLEMENTATION AND ADAPTATION
Kraynova Polina O., Obukhov Alexey S. DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2020-5-142-152
Abstract.
In the context of global trends in the humanization of education, issues of differentiation, individualization and personalization of education are actively discussed. At the same time, the key question remains – how to preserve the individual capabilities, interests and needs of each student while maintaining collective learning formats? How to take into account the personal characteristics and capabilities of each when passing and mastering general education programs? One such solution was the PCBL personalized learning platform developed in the USA. Currently, the Khoroshevskaya school is introducing and adapting this platform to the Russian conditions of education. The article examines the specifi c case of implementing a system of personalized competency-based education in a separate school – what problems, barriers and diffculties are encountered in its implementation. The study is built in the logic of qualitative research on the basis of high-quality research interviews with the main participants in the educational process in the context of introducing a personalized learning system.

Kireeva Olesya A. DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2020-5-153-162
Abstract.
When studying the integration issues in education, there is a global trend of the last two decades aimed at strengthening the interdisciplinary connection between naturalscience and socio-humanitarian components of education. Among the scientifi c community it is noted that the opposition of designated knowledge areas has a negative impact on the intradisciplinary development which leads to a slowdown in innovative processes at all stages of an individual’s education. Considering the possible ways to solve the problem, we turned to integrated ecological and artistic educational activities: the article gives the defi nition and reveals the content; it also traces the connection with the folk culture, specifi cally the traditions of nature management and artistic creativity. Searching for an effective solution aimed at achieving the goals of integrated educational activities, the author turns to the pedagogical modelling method the application result of which are: systematized and consistently stated theoretical foundations of children’s ecological and artistic education in the context of ethno-cultural traditions; justifi cation of its targets, approaches and principles, content, forms, methods, means; possible conditions for ensuring educational activities, evaluation of its efficiency and the expected result. It is noted that the developed theoretical model has, in addition to integrity and consistency, its practical signifi cance which shall have a further effect on its practicality.

Vavilova Tatyana E., Eremina Elena I. DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2020-5-240-249
Abstract.
The article deals with a topical issue – forming the foreign language communicative competence of students in the process of foreign language learning in a non-linguistic educational organization. Foreign language is an educational discipline that helps students acquire and improve their reading and speaking skills in the language they are studying, as well as form the basis of their communicative competence. In this capacity, a foreign language plays an important role in specialists training of the Internal Affairs bodies, since the foreign language knowledge is a mandatory component of a modern police officer professional competence. The authors focus on the choice of learning strategies, which are based on the development of the ability and real readiness to implement foreign language communication, the ability to achieve mutual understanding with native speakers. Attention is paid to the selection of educational material focused on the foreign language communicative competence formation, an important indicator of which is not only the correctness of speech from the point of view of the language norms, but also from the point of view of the cultural context. The authors come to the conclusion that the main tasks for the foreign language communicative competence formation is to constantly stimulate students’ cognitive activity and to increase their motivation to learn a foreign language.
