The “UchimZnaem” project allows students in need of long-term treatment to undergo not only the medical, but also academic rehabilitation. The network of regional sites of the project is expanding every year. The article describes the mechanism of opening schools under the auspices of the «UchimZnaem» project in the regions based on in-depth interviews with the administration of the existing schools of the project.

MEN’S AND WOMEN’S STRATEGIES FOR COPYING WITH THE PSYCHOLOGICAL CONSEQUENCES OF AGE DISCRIMINATION

Sapogova Elena E., Aleksandrova Natalia Yu.             DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2021-1-33-46

Abstract.

The article summarizes the results of a comparative study of the choice of strategies to cope with the psychological consequences of discrimination on the basis of age in the case of a job loss by men and women aged 40-56. Using the techniques “Strategies for coping with psychological consequences of age discrimination”, “Self-well-being in extreme conditions” and “Vitality test” (“The Personal Views Survey”), it is proved that: 1) men suffer from the psychological consequences of ageism more (sleep disorders, emotional and vegetative instability, maladjustment reactions, decreased stress resistance, etc.); 2) men and women are equally vital-resilient when they lose their jobs; indicators of vitality in both cases are higher than the average indicator according to S. Maddy; 3) men and women choose fundamentally different strategies for coping with the psychological consequences of age discrimination with the same denial of the strategy of taking responsibility: men more often choose non-adaptive strategies of escape-avoidance and distancing, whereas women often choose an adaptive strategy for searching social support. The publication contains the text and keys of the authors’ methodology “Strategies for coping with psychological consequences of age discrimination”.

INTELLECTUAL AND MOTIVATIONAL COMPONENTS IN THE LONGITUDINAL STUDY
OF GIFTEDNESS

Artemenkov Sergei L., Bogoyavlenskaya Diana B.,

Joukova Elena S.                                                        DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2021-1-47-61

Abstract.

In the framework of a longitudinal experiment, factors of forming giftedness, revealed as the ability to creativity, are considered. As a unit of creativity the ability to develop activities on one’s own initiative is considered. The study was conducted on children of primary and low secondary school (grades 2–6). In the 2nd grade, among 42 students, high intelligence was detected in 26 students. Among them, only 9 children, who showed giftedness, retained and improved their intellectual status in the process of further development (grades 4 and 6). This suggests that the high intelligence only does not determine a person’s giftedness. The study shows that the giftedness determined by the Creative Field method is characterized by a certain temporary and individual stability, which is explained by the integration of the intellectual and motivational components in it. If there is a level of intelligence that allows a child to successfully master the activity, giftedness is ensured by the dominance of cognitive motivation as one of the factors of the ability to develop activities on the initiative of the subject.

Abstract.

The article summarizes the results of an empirical study of developing the ethno-cultural competences of future teachers in the educational practice of Khakas State University named after N. F. Katanov. The purpose of the article is to reveal the pedagogical experience of forming ethno-cultural competence of future teachers in a regional multi-ethnic University in the context of globalization. The research focuses on the practice of forming the ethno-cultural competence of students, majoring in education, in the course of studying ethno-cultural disciplines. A set of methods was used for the research: a retrospective analysis of practical teaching experience, a generalizing analysis, observation and study of students’ reflexive essays, a conversation and interviewing, which allowed us to get a generally positive picture of the quality of ethno-cultural training of future teachers and educators. Among the identified problems we can note the lack of methodological manuals that take into account the ethno-regional characteristics of the area. The pedagogical influence of the teacher on the process of forming the ethnocultural competence in students while using active forms and methods of teaching is shown. We paid attention to the role of the mother tongue as a factor of forming the student’s ethno-cultural competence.

Rapid sociocultural and economic changes in society inspire active activity to adapt the vocational education system to new challenges. The rapid restructuring of the methodology and didactics of learning caused by the pandemic was an exclusive priority of distance learning technologies. Immediate modernization of educational activities and the transition to online training revealed objective problems of verbal and non-verbal communication in the process of training and the lack of organization of didactic support of vocational training. The aim of the work was to generalize methodological techniques used in the process of the operational organization of distance learning. The article names indicators that determine the direction of adaptation of traditional educational methods of design education to the digital environment. New approaches to choosing methodical and didactic techniques were determined during the pedagogical experiment with the use of analysis and synthesis. The work presents a reflection on the result of the preparation of didactic material for theoretical and practical classes in a full distance mode. There are didactic training planning units that should be paid special attention to. Forms of training and control are presented, which showed the best result during the prevailing distance learning.
