Abstract.

The article is concerned with the works of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. Understanding of the women’s question by these thinkers is in the focus of attention. The topicality is due to the updating of the gender issues in the context of aggravation of social contradictions in the modern society, which explains multiple references to the works of Marxism founders by modern feminism thinkers. The aim of the study is to identify and codify the historic roots of women’s oppression, social and economic grounds of their unequal position in the society as well as understanding of the discrepancies, which triggered the women’s issue, to trace the main channels of women’s oppression in the society of that time and the role that the speculators assigned to women in creating a just society of future. The women’s issue was considered by the founders of Marxism as part of a complex unity of contradictions of the class society and the liberation of a woman ought to happen within the liberation of people from exploitation and exclusion. The article also considers the aspects of K. Marx and F. Engels’s school of thought that have been maintained in the works of modern feminists altogether with the ideas that were complemented and reconsidered. The study methodology includes the system-oriented approach and the reconstruction of K. Marx’s and F. Engels’s works on the study problematics.

Sukhanova Natalia P.                                                   DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2021-2-19-26

Abstract.

High technologies are changing the landscape of everyday life, the ability to think outside the box and critically becomes a competitive advantage of a person. The article focuses on poly-variety in the study of the phenomenon of critical thinking and builds up the relationship between the critical and the logical. It shows the formal-logical guidelines of critical thinking, which underlie the reflexive attitude to one’s own ideas and skills of working with concepts and statements, structuring the knowledge gained. Modern education in the context of the uncertainty of the future world of professions is considered to be aimed at the development of the plasticity of the intellect. Thinking about the program for teaching the art of critical thinking is carried out through the prism of the concept of logical culture, which manifests itself in the culture of written and oral speech. To analyze the mechanism of the cognitive work of critical thinking, a specific educational situation is used with an appeal to the logical description of the question. It is concluded that individual courses aimed at developing the ability to think critically are ineffective, since logic is a necessary foundation for effective critical thinking skills.

EMOTIONAL DETERMINANTS (INTEGRATED AND HISTORICAL-GENETIC APPROACHES)

Tarabakina Lyudmila V.                                                 DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2021-2-49-62

Abstract.

The article discusses the emotional determinants in the context of comparing traditional (integrated) and non-classical (historical-genetic) approaches. Any mental phenomenon, including emotional, has a complex structure and is considered as a system included, in its turn, in connection with other systems. The fundamental idea of the integrated approach is to recognize the biological system as the dominant and system-forming, with the result that emotions in the categorical grid of this approach take the place of protopsychological category, losing, among other things, the status of the fundamental category of the psychology. The fundamental idea of the historical-genetic approach is discussed as promising for the study of psychology of emotions since it considers them in a single functioning with all other mental processes, determining the origin of new “higher alloys” (L. S. Vygotsky) and integrative emotional phenomena. The article analyzes the place of emotions that not only arise in social life, but also create the history and perspective of interpersonal relations and interaction. It is shown that the mechanism of sense-making becomes the meaningful context in explaining the nature of emotions, generating connections with the characteristics of other participants in the social interaction and correcting ways to effectively solve common problems, and a society that values and creates conditions for the people’s emotional health has the most powerful resource for resiliency and vitality of persons, groups, society itself.

THE ABILITY TO ESTABLISH TRUSTING RELATIONSHIPS WITH CITIZENS IN THE CONTEXT OF TRAINING STUDENTS OF A LAW UNIVERSITY FOR PARTNERSHIP: SOCIO-PSYCHOLOGICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS

Titova Olga I.                                                              DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2021-2-81-91

Abstract.

Partnership in law enforcement and implementation of the “Community policing” strategy in the interests of society is ensured by the development of professional competencies of students of a law university, including the ability to establish trusting relationships with citizens. The survey revealed difficulties in building trusting relationships with citizens who have internal resistance to interacting with police officers, and with citizens who are unpleasant on a personal level. Presumably, this is due to a lack of skills to influence the situation, to manage the process of establishing trusting relationships with a citizen. Cognitive, motivational, emotional-volitional, behavioral and axiological components of the ability to establish trusting relationships with citizens are described. In accordance with the taxonomy of B. Bloom’s tasks, tasks have been developed and options for their application in practical classes aimed at developing this professional competence have been proposed.

Arpentieva Mariam R.                                             DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2021-2-102-113

Abstract.

Multiple manifestations of the crisis in the Russian education are of a dual nature: beside the losses, they are concerned with some important gains. Practitioners and theorists note the need for a transition from lagging to advanced education, which, on the one hand, forms a negative attitude towards the traditions and achievements of the Soviet school, but on the other hand, focuses on recapitulating its achievements in order to build a more productive and effective work format. The transition of education and upbringing to a diagnostic basis has been intensified in schools, which is facilitated by rather active work on the creation and development of psychological services in schools and universities: the theory and practice of academic psychological counseling, support, etc. thanks to active discussions and criticism of federal state standards, ethical and legal foundations of education, a new understanding of the standard in education is being established. So far, this understanding focuses on the concept of «minimum knowledge» and the model of commodification and commercialization of education, but the features of reorientation to the concepts of «quality education» and «development of individuality», a comprehensively developed (as a person, partner and professional) person are already visible.

The article reveals gender approaches of some Crimean peoples to the problem of preparing children for work and independent life. It is revealed that the foundations of masculinity and femininity among Crimean Tatars, Jews, Karaites, Greeks, Armenians has been carried out in families on the basis of universal values as well as national, cultural and pedagogical traditions. The main upbringing method for boys and girls has been the example of a parent of their gender and involvement in family work. Abstract.

The article proves the need to create a new branch of scientific knowledge “Religious studies of education” and a new subject of the same name within the direction 44.04.01 – “Pedagogical education”. The author studies their features in comparison with some other subjects focused on the views of religious systems on education, such as: philosophy of education, theology of education, cultural studies of education and sociology of education. The methodological basis of the research consists of both General scientific methodological approaches (system approach, comparative approach, historical approach, ontological approach), and special scientific methodological approaches, such as the system-activity approach, which assumes in the educational process a purposeful motivated solution of problems that are determined by problem situations; the cultural approach, which made it possible to compare General, individual and special cultural phenomena, in particular religion and education; the anthropological approach that allows us to interpret the accumulated knowledge from various spheres of human life from the point of view of pedagogy. The main goals of the new interdisciplinary branch of scientific knowledge “Religious studies of education” are proposed and the main vectors of its development are identified. The article substantiates the relevance of the deployment of “Religious studies of education” as part of the master’s degree courses in the direction 44.04.01 – “Pedagogical education” in a multi-confessional and multi-ethnic Russia. Four main functions of the new academic discipline are presented: propaedeutic, worldview, cognitive-methodological, and managerial-prognostic. The article shows the great practical significance of religious studies in education, which reflects the urgent needs of the pedagogical activity. It is assumed that the new academic discipline will serve to form a holistic worldview in future teachers, characterized by a confessional neutral, systematic and objective view of the views of all existing or ever existing in the history of religions on education.

Abstract.

The purpose of this article is to analyze how students of different ages and levels of foreign language proficiency acquire new vocabulary while learning in order to determine whether these memorization techniques allow them to store, retrieve and use words effectively in different communicative contexts. The number of studies related to the development of vocabulary has increased significantly, since if students are helped to develop adequate language strategies, this will allow them to create sufficient communication support for understanding the language in terms of developing language skills such as inference, contextualization, application. In addition, analyzing the language learning strategies that students develop to learn vocabulary without understanding the cognitive processes that their minds perform would be an unfortunate «cognitive path» because mind and memory naturally develop strategies that do more than store information, but also serve to solve problems of meaning.

Abstract.

The development of a new quality of education, of which authentic assessment is an integral part, has been worrying the expert community for a long time. The introduction of pedagogical measurements and self-assessment of achievements in the educational process into practice becomes relevant in the education systems of the 21st century. Today more than ever, the problem of assessing students competencies and motivation, as one of the key in educational practice, is most acute. In motivation, when there is a need for development in specific types of activities – training and education – assessment plays the same role as any other incentive in actualizing other needs in various types of activities. Therefore, in the scientific work, special attention is paid to the independent assessment of educational achievements of students as a tool to stimulate learning activities, the use of the pattern design method in the development of measuring tools is justified. For forming a positive, sustainable educational motivation, it is important when evaluating the work of a student, to carry out a qualitative analysis, to emphasize all positive aspects and progress in studying the material and to identify the causes of existing shortcomings. This qualitative analysis should be aimed at forming the students’ adequate self-esteem of work, their reflection on it.
